February was National Children’s Dental Health Month, and the staff at Carolina Children’s Dentistry was heavily involved in promoting healthy oral hygiene habits to elementary school age children in the Sumter, Lee and Richland County areas.
Our staff visited many schools in February to teach the children about their first dental visit, healthy snacking, and proper brushing and flossing techniques. Our goal is to provide these children with the information they need to ensure they maintain healthy dental habits for a lifetime. But remember, parents must play their role too. We encourage you to take the lead in monitoring your child’s brushing and flossing techniques.
